Please measure your bed width to determine which bar fits your truck. The powder-coated, steel crossbar can be used for up to 4 racks, depending on your truck bed width. Each QR3 Rack will use about 12" of rail width. The Hanger Crossbar will mount over the bed wall right behind the cab of your truck. Securing the Hanger brackets requires an anchor point such as a standard tie-down hook common in most truck beds.

Closing the Tailgate
Closing the Tailgate
Most short-bed trucks will not be able to close the tailgate unless the bike is small enough. For precise fit information, see "Will my bike fit with the tailgate closed?" in our FAQ. You may also be able to close your tailgate if you mount your bike with the rear wheel and turn the front wheel to the side.
If your tailgate needs to stay down, our Tailgate Boss can keep it from bouncing when transporting.
